Club Championship – Course of Fire

Competition	Practical Shotgun
Firearm	Any multi-shot shotgun. Open iron sights (no dots or scopes). Usually birdshot ammunition (sometimes SG) – preferably with fibre wads. Approx 50-60 rounds required.
Target	Shoot and no-shoot (red) reactive targets. e.g. plates / pepper-poppers / skittles. Eye protection mandatory.
Scoring	Usually comstock (score / time). Targets must fall to count (5 points per target). No-shoots / misses / procedurals all incur –10 points penalty.
Procedure	Stages to be described on the day, but may include speed shoots; field stages; RH & LH shooting; load 1, shoot 1. etc. Timing by shotwatch.
