Sporting Rifle – Course of Fire (as at Feb 10)

The Aim Of The Competition

The aim of this competition is to test the ability of the individuals to read the general weather conditions and differing aiming points in order to gain the maximum score.

General Outline

In the spirit of the name of the comp., this will be a true Sporting competition with an ethos that tries to follow some kind of sporting rationale, at least as close as can be achieved on a gallery range.

Requirements

The competition is to be shot using a calibre that might be used for shooting both vermin and larger game e.g. .243, 7mm, .308 etc. This means that small calibres (e.g. .223) are not permitted for larger game (deer) and will not qualify.  30 Rounds Required.
