Frome & District Pistol Club - FDPC.
FDPC's old outdoor range was approx 15 miles south of Bristol, on the A37. It
was located in a disused quarry, on the northern side of the village, just before decending into Gurney Slade.
Here's some photos, to remind you how good it was !!

The main range consisted of twenty 25 Metre covered firing points, and eighteen open points, at 50 Metres.

The covered firing points provided the ideal environment for precision disciplines, particularly muzzle loading events.

Turning targets, and a Mover, ensured a wide range of disciplines
could be shot.

There was also a 3 point, twenty yard side range, used mainly for training, and Practical events.
