Frome & District Pistol Club - FDPC.

 

FDPC has long been associated with the 1500 discipline – one look at the British Championship Trophy will show you how long.

 

The Western Winner was always a major match in the 1500 calendar in pistol days – we intend to ensure it returns as a major match in the GR calendar, and it was reborn in 2004, with the first GR Western Winner 1500.

 

The next WW will be on Sat 8th May 2010, a Classified 1500 match, and just one day – to provide an opportunity for club and national shooters alike to demonstrate that 1500 is still alive and kicking in the West country.

 

The venue – Bristol and District’s range at Failand, is just 10 mins south of Bristol, and just east of J19 of the M5. Detailed maps will be sent out with squadding. The venue provides 18 x 50M points, with barricades and turning targets.

 

We intend to run 3 or 4 details on the day, with the aim of finishing by 16:00, for prize-giving.

 

Please support 1500 shooting with FDPC – there will be matches for GRCF, GRSB, LBP and LBR. This event is open to all safe shooters, registered or first time 1500 shooters. Give it a go !!
