FDPC Open Competitions

 

FDPC hosts a number of Open competitions throughout the year – open to all safe shooters who are able to compete within the limits of their FAC. (Club guns are available to FDPC members). We attract all levels of shooters from first-timers to national squad; it’s the perfect opportunity to shoot some of the events outside of Bisley – especially if you are a newcomer. However, for the experts, there is a real challenge. The 1500 is a classified event, with scores contributing to national rankings.  Our series of Rimfre practical’s, with theme based stages; challenging even for the top shooters. Finally, the WCSA – an informal GR event consisting of 3-4 GR shorts matches run under the auspices of Wilts County, by FDPC.

 

For 2012, we will be running the following ………

 

·        Sat 25th February – Indoor Rimfire Practical – Fun event, limited to 30 entries  SOLD OUT

·        Fri 18th / Sat 19th May - The ‘Western Winner’ 1500 to be held at B&D Failand Ranges, Bristol.  A Classified 1500 Match for GRCF, GRSB, LBR and LBP.

·        Sat 23rd June - WCSA GR Championships, to be held at IR1A ranges, Warminster. An Unclassified Match for GR ‘Shorts’ events.   

·        Sat 21st July – Indoor Rimfire Practical – Fun event, limited to 30 entries (get in quick – last one sold out in a few weeks !)

·        Sat 25th November – Indoor Rimfire Practical – Fun event, limited to 30 entries (get in quick – last one sold out in a few weeks !)
